Ingredients

1. Granulated sugar - 1 cup
2. Butter - ½ cup
3. Eggs - 2 large
4. Bananas, mashed - 1 ½ cups (for about 1 ½ cups you will require three medium bananas)
5. Milk - 1 tablespoon
6. Cinnamon, ground - 1 teaspoon
7. All-purpose flour - 2 cups
8. Baking powder - 1 teaspoon
9. Baking soda - 1 teaspoon
10. Salt - 1 teaspoon

1. You can make banana nut bread by adding ¾ cups of walnuts, pecans, or any other nuts of your choice.

Directions

1. The initial step for making banana bread is to preheat the oven at 163 degrees celsius. Take a 9 by 5 - inch loaf pan or a pan similar to this size and grease it. Also, line the bottom of the loaf pan with a small piece or either parchment paper or wax paper.

2. Now, in a large mixing bowl, cream butter and sugar together until light and fluffy. Mix the constituents thoroughly after adding eggs one at a time.

3. Stir in mashed bananas and milk and combine well.

4. Take another mixing bowl and combine all-purpose flour, baking powder, baking soda, cinnamon, and salt. After mixing the dry ingredients well, combine them with wet ingredients, and stir everything nicely.

Banana bread tastes fantastic when eaten with cream cheese frosting. To make cream cheese frosting, beat 112 grams of softened cream cheese and ¼ cup of the unsalted butter together. Cream these constituents together on medium speed until you obtain a smooth consistency. Add in 1 cup of powdered sugar and ½ teaspoon vanilla extract and beat all these ingredients together until well combined.
