Directions

1. The initial step for making the grilled fish steak is to prepare the marinade for the fish fillets. To prepare the marinade, take stainless steel or a glass bowl of a medium-size and integrate all the ingredients, i.e., minced garlic, olive oil (or any other vegetable oil), salt, dried basil, black pepper, chopped, fresh parsley, and lemon juice.

2. Now, take a resealable bag or a somewhat shallow glass dish. Afterward, place the fish fillets and pour over the marinade that you have prepared on top of the fillets. Seal the bowl and refrigerate for an hour. Be mindful of turning the fillets occasionally.

3. The next step is at high temperature preheat the outdoor grill, and apply oil lightly on to the grate. Make sure that the grate should be four inches away from the heat.

4. It's time to remove the fish fillets from the marinade. Drain off the excess marinade from the fillets.

5. It will take 5 minutes per side to grill the fish fillets or grill until the fish fillet is thoroughly cooked. It should be easily flaked with the help of a fork.

6. After grilling, serve fish fillet steak in a serving dish. You can serve grilled fish steak with bread, chapati, grilled vegetables, sliced tomatoes, sliced lemon, and sliced onions.
