Directions
PREPARATION OF DRY FRUITS FOR THE MILKSHAKE:
1. For 30 minutes, in hot water, soak figs. You can also soak them for two to three hours in regular water as well.
2. If the figs you have are already soft, then there is no need to soak them. If you find them chewy and hard, then soak them.
3. Soak dates if you find them hard. If soft, then there is no need to soak them.
4. Also, soak cashews, almonds, and other remaining dry fruits if you like.
5. Once the dates and figs have softened, chop them.
6. Except for saffron, rinse the remaining dry fruits.
PREPARATION OF DRY FRUITS MILKSHAKE:
1. Take a blender jar and add dry fruits.
2. Now, add ½ cup milk and blitz until you obtain a fine or a semi-fine paste.
3. Next, pour in the remaining two cups of milk. At this step, you can also add the desired amount of sugar.
4. Make a nice concoction by blending it well.
5. Stir the milkshake and pour it in the glasses.
6. Garnish the milkshake with a few dry fruits slices and serve it immediately.
RECIPE NOTES:
1. If anyone has dairy milk intolerance, then you can use almond milk or soy milk instead.
2. Proportions of dry fruits can be changed as per your requirements.
3. Soak these dry fruits for at least 45 minutes to an hour, because it will give creamier taste to the milkshake.
4. After soaking the almonds, you can also peel off their skin if you like.
